Zumbini is forty-five minutes of music and dance for children under four and whoever brings them – mum, dad or granny. In the Limassol classes everyone sings, dances and plays musical instruments together, and for many of the little ones the drums are the highlight. Along the way they pick up English songs and phrases, and the programme supports movement, language and social skills – though, as the team puts it, the real point is quality time together.

Zygi is a small organised beach in the fishing village of the same name, halfway between Larnaca and Limassol (part of the Larnaca district). Nearby is a fishing harbour with many fresh-fish tavernas. There is a playground on the beach. The shore is mixed: fine sand alongside sections of shingle and smooth stones, with calm, shallow water. Wide, level paths make it easy for pushchairs, and there is access for visitors with reduced mobility and toilets. Lifeguards are on duty in season, and there are sunbeds, umbrellas and a beach kiosk.
Sema is a nursery in Nicosia for children aged one to five, promising that they will be as safe as with mum and as well fed as at grandma's. Alongside the ordinary nursery day there is singing, fitness and learning through play, each child follows a development plan of their own, and parents have a school of their own too. The nursery is open from 7.30 to 17.00, and the staff speak Russian, English and Greek.
