An Advent Calendar to Empower Your Child: Creative Christmas Workshop for Mums

A relaxed, festive morning for mums, each of whom makes a personalised Advent calendar with 24 positive "I AM" affirmations tucked in beside the daily chocolate. Catherine Galea, a mindfulness teacher for adults and children and an emotional empowerment coach, first made one for her own daughter and is now passing the idea on. The session opens with a look at how affirmations can support a child's confidence and self-belief, then moves on to writing the 24 messages and decorating the calendar. The €40 fee covers all craft materials, guidance and refreshments, while the chocolates are left to each mum so the children's favourites can go in at home. There are only six places, and the morning runs from 10:00 until roughly 12:00.
