Christmas on the Sea Lighting Ceremony 2026

About the event

Limassol Marina launches this year's Christmas on the Sea season by switching on the lights of its 12-metre Christmas tree on the Marina Square, with the sea as a backdrop. From 4pm there is a Christmas market in aid of the Funraising Charity Foundation, and Mama of two_stories runs an arts and crafts workshop for children. Diamantidou School of Music sings Christmas carols at 5pm, and at 5.45pm the Mayor of Limassol, Yiannis Armeftis, switches on the lights. Limassol Dancing Center gives a dance performance, and the Christina Averkiou Band plays live from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Father Christmas drops in from 6pm to 8pm with presents for every child. The celebrations run from 4pm to 8.30pm.
