Harmoni: Solo Art Exhibition by Chiaki Kamikawa in Paphos

About the event

Harmoni gathers the work of Chiaki Kamikawa, a Japanese-born artist who lives and works in Paphos. Her detailed oil paintings, watercolours and textile sculptures bring everyday scenes and folklore spirits to life, threading Japanese legend through Greek mythology and the Cypriot landscape. The show is part of the Municipality of Pafos's Fine Arts cultural programme and is free to visit. The Ambassador of Japan will open it at 7.30pm on the first evening, and on the closing Saturday children can join a free drawing workshop from 11am to 1pm, followed by an artist talk at 5pm. Opening hours are 11am to 1pm and 5pm to 7pm on weekdays, and 11am to 6pm on Saturdays.
