Indian Traditional Tantra: One-Day Immersion in Tochni

This one-day immersion introduces traditional Indian Tantra through practice rather than theory: mantra, Tantrik kriyas, Tantra yoga with bija mantras and a yagna fire ceremony. The day opens at 10am with a lecture on the path, methods and philosophy of Tantra, yoga follows at 11.45am for those who want it, and after a lunch break, with food to buy at the venue, the vocal and physical kriyas begin at 3pm. The fire ceremony closes proceedings from 4.30pm to 6pm, which is why the rest of the programme is not optional. No previous experience of Tantra or yoga is needed, and anyone keen to carry on may be given an ongoing mantra sadhana. Radasi and Yorgos Aryavrat, with 65 years of yoga and spiritual practice between them, lead the day; places cost €100, or €90 each if you bring a friend, and bookings are open.
