Music & concertsAcid Mammoth: Cimmerian Doom Live in LarnacaAthens quartet Acid Mammoth bring their Cimmerian doom to Cyprus for the very first time. Signed to Heavy Psych Sounds Records, they deal in monolithic riffs, occult atmosphere and a cavernous low end that owes an obvious debt to Black Sabbath. They have shared stages around Europe with the likes of Yob, Bongripper and Orange Goblin. Crash N' Burn and O'Kazen open the night and warm up the crowd. Machalárt turns the streets and squares of Larnaca and its villages into living spaces for art and getting together, bringing residents and visitors together. Its motto says it all: the street becomes a neighbourhood, the people a community, the city a shared place. This year it runs under the banner of Larnaca, European Capital of Culture 2030.
