About the event
Theatro Piccolo's new family show strings together three Cypriot fairy tales, The Golden Breads, The Name of Akis and The White Horse, told in Cypriot dialect with plenty of humour, handsome sets and original music. Children and grown-ups travel side by side through three different eras of Cyprus, with laughter, feeling, a dash of magic and the odd surprise along the way. Music is by Stelios Gerasimou, choreography by Marios Avraam and the ANTAMA Dance School, and the sets and costumes by Lakis Genethlis. The production, which plays at the Pantheon Theatre in Nicosia, visits Paphos's Markideio Theatre for a single performance at 11:00. Tickets are €12, with reductions for large families and free entry for disabled visitors, the unemployed and artists. The performance is interpreted into Cypriot Sign Language.
