For parentsHermaphrodite's Child: 50s & 60s Live Rock ShowAthens retro outfit Hermaphrodite's Child are back in Cyprus for Halloween weekend, bringing the golden age of 1950s and 60s rock 'n' roll with them. The setlist roams from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, The Beach Boys, The Kinks, Roy Orbison and Chuck Berry to Greek favourites Paschalis & the Olympians, The Charms and Mimis Plessas. All four — Vasilis and Dimitris Tzelepis, Dimitris Amarantos and Yannis Voulgaris — sing as well as play, giving a big, full sound that's true to the era and impossible to sit still to. Workshops & classesHalloween Kids Workshop by Blue Bird Sweets in NicosiaBlue Bird Sweets invites children and their parents to a sugary Halloween workshop full of colour, sugarpaste and smiles. Each child decorates six Halloween biscuits, models their own sweet creations in sugarpaste and takes the lot home in a special Blue Bird box. Ingredients, an apron and packaging are all included, so there is nothing to bring. The first session runs from 11:00 to 12:30 and the second from 15:30 to 17:00. Theatre & showsThe Bubble Witch & Alice in Football Land – Teatro Angelico in NicosiaTeatro Angelico brings not one but two family shows to Nicosia — two different doors into the same magical theatrical adventure. The Bubble Witch takes the stage at 11am and Alice in Football Land at 3:30pm; each lasts about an hour, and both carry the Ministry of Education's seal of approval.
