Running time is about 70 minutes. In Nicosia it plays in the garden of the Goethe-Institut, inside the UN buffer zone right next to the Ledra Palace itself; curtain up at 20:00 or 21:00 depending on the night. Make autumn magicalSee Halloween events →Theatre & showsThe Father by Florian Zeller at Theatro DentroFlorian Zeller's The Father won the Molière Award and went on to become the film that earned Anthony Hopkins his Best Actor Oscar. It follows a man whose mind is slowly slipping its moorings — faces blur, times and places overlap — and rather than simply watching, the audience is drawn into the confusion itself, with flashes of humour offering a welcome breath of air. Stavros Louras takes the lead under Giannis Leontaris's direction; the play runs for 90 minutes in Greek. Given its weighty subject, it's recommended for adults and mature teenagers. Curtain up at 20:30; tickets are on sale from €18.12 – 27 Oct8.30pm (12, 19, 20, 26, 27 October)Nicosia, Theatro Dentro€from €18

Eirini Andronikou's production first played at the Adios Horos Festival in Athens; two performers and a live musician hold the stage for 1 hour 10 minutes, and it's very much one for grown-ups.
