Prize Winners' Gala Concert by the Solon Michaelides Competitions

About the event

The third gala concert for young prize-winners of the Pan-Hellenic Solon Michaelides Music Competitions. The programme takes in Mozart, Haydn, Tchaikovsky, Emmanuel Séjourné and Solon Michaelides himself. To mark 270 years since Mozart's birth, Eirini Charalambaki plays his Clarinet Concerto, while Andreas Marinou gives only the second performance anywhere of Michaelides's Piano Concertino. The other soloists are George Darmis on piano, Michalis Vassiliades on cello and Petros Chimonides on marimba, with the Limassol Camerata under Mikis Michaelides. It starts at 8pm, and entry is free.
