Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma at Pantheon Theatre

About the event

A one-night-only screening of the dark comedy from Jane Schoenbrun, the writer and director of I Saw the TV Glow. An eager young director is hired to revive the tired Camp Miasma slasher franchise and travels to an abandoned summer camp to find Billy, the now-reclusive actress who played the original final girl. As the two women pick apart how Camp Miasma shaped them, they tumble into a frenzied, blood-soaked world of desire, self-discovery and delirium. The film won the Queer Palm at Cannes and the Audience Award at Frameline in San Francisco, and stars Jack Haven, Hannah Einbinder and Jasmin Savoy Brown. It runs for 112 minutes in English with Greek subtitles; tickets start at €8 and the screening begins at 20:00.
