The Lazy Dragon by Giorgos Hatzipieris at Nicosia Municipal Theatre

About the event

The Lazy Dragon, Giorgos Hatzipieris's much-loved musical for children, is back on stage after a two-year break. Konstantinos Rigos directs, and the familiar characters, Elephantaki the little elephant, the Fox, Patata and the Ice-Cream Man among them, are voiced by Eleni Tsaligopoulou, Rena Morfi, Giannis Dionisiou, Thanos Milas and the composer himself. Expect dancers, striking sets, video projections, a few surprises and a generous sprinkling of stardust. The children's choir of Anthi Papaphilippou and the Nicosia Municipality Children's Choir join the cast, giving the evening a proper Christmassy glow. The show is performed in Greek and starts at 7pm. Tickets are on sale at €25 to €40 for adults and €20 to €32 for children up to 14.
