The Lie by Florian Zeller at Satiriko Theatre

About the event

Satiriko Theatre's Main Stage opens Florian Zeller's comedy The Lie, directed by Marianna Kafkaridou in a translation by Marialena Kotsaki. Two couples who are friends sit down to a dinner that starts off splendidly, until a secret threatens to turn the evening upside down. Doubts, suspicions and unexpected confessions keep shifting the ground, and by the end neither the characters nor the audience can be quite sure who is telling the truth and who is simply the better liar. Underneath the laughs sits a thorny question: is total honesty always wise, or can a small lie be an act of care? The cast features Mara Konstantinou, Andreas Tselepos, Simos Tsiakkas and Ioanna Lampropoulou. The premiere starts at 8 pm, with performances thereafter on Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 6.30 pm.
