The Nicosia Christmas Market by Handmade in Cyprus 2026

Handmade in Cyprus returns for a second year, turning Eleftheria Square into a European-style Christmas market for more than five festive weeks. Over 45 local makers set up every day, with a different line-up each day, so there is always something new to find. Children can join free arts and crafts sessions, while the main stage, run with Nicosia Municipality, brings live music, performers and family entertainment. Festive food, drinks and seasonal treats are on offer throughout, and the market links up with Paramythoupoli. It is held under cover on the square's lower level, so the weather is no obstacle; entry is free and it opens at 10:00.
