Transferring Memories: Silk Scarf Workshop for Adults at the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation

About the event

A free workshop in which everyone designs their own silk scarf, drawing on the Foundation's Archaeological Museum, the Georgios and Nefeli Tziapra Pierides Collection. Artist and fashion textile designer Michalis Pantelidis opens with a short introduction to his method, followed by a guided tour of the galleries. Participants photograph or sketch the details that catch their eye, then work them into a contemporary design on silk using pencils, special paints and fabric markers. All materials are provided, places are limited and booking is required. It runs from 11:00 to 13:30.
