About this organisation
AEK Larnaca Academy has been running since the club itself was founded in 1994. More than 300 young footballers, girls and boys alike, train here, and the academy's teams play in the official leagues of the Cyprus Football Association. Since September 2019 the academy has had its own training centre in Larnaca, and it also uses the pitches at the old GSZ and the community stadium in Kalo Chorio. The staff of 40 includes qualified football coaches, fitness and goalkeeping coaches, a sports psychologist and support staff. The academy teaches children fair play, helps keep them away from addictions and aims to bring its best players through to AEK's first team. Families can apply online through the academy's website.
