About this organisation
AEL Football Academy is the youth academy of the Limassol club AEL, working with children and teenagers. It follows a three-phase model: Grassroots for children up to 12, Pre-Formation for the under-13 to under-15 squads and Formation for the under-16, under-17 and under-19 teams. Each phase has its own head, and alongside the coaches the staff includes fitness and goalkeeper coaches, performance analysts, physiotherapists and scouts. Players' progress is monitored systematically, and each phase keeps in touch with parents itself. Children can join from the age of four.
