About this organisation
The Sensory House, in Ayia Fyla in Limassol, runs sensory and messy play sessions for babies and toddlers from 2 months to 3 years, with parents taking part alongside them. Groups are arranged by age, from Cocoon for non-mobile babies of 2 to 5 months to Bloomers, Explorers and Movers for older ones, and the theme changes every week. Children explore water, sand, paint, edible trays and natural materials, and move freely through climbing, balancing and movement play. Sessions are designed by a certified messy and sensory play facilitator trained by Hehe and the Messy Play Greece & Cyprus association, and a Mama Circle brings parents together for meet-ups and talks by specialists. A session lasts an hour, or 45 minutes for the youngest, and costs 15 euros; a towel and a change of clothes are worth bringing for the messy activities.
