About the event
The Ierokipeion Free University in Paphos opens its 23rd lecture series, which runs through to February 2027. Physicist and meteorologist Andreas Chrysanthou of the Cyprus Department of Meteorology gives the opening talk. He looks at how accelerating climate change in the Eastern Mediterranean is affecting the island's climate, and how that ties in with Cyprus's water problems. The evening begins at 7pm with the opening ceremony of the series, which is run with the University of Cyprus, Hierokipia Municipality and Radio Paphos.
