East Cyprus Music Meetings: Women in the Music Industry — Larnaca

About the event

Women in the Music Industry, part of a free series for musicians from across the island, opens with a hands-on workshop on PR and press releases led by Christina Hazboun of The Sonic Agent. A panel follows with Cemre Arca, Christina Hazboun and Mikaela Tsangari of Elbow Room Studios on empowering women in Cyprus's music industry, finding your feet in studios and live venues, and building creative confidence in a small scene. From 9pm there is a jam session and a merchandise market. East Cyprus Music Meetings is run by Windcraft Loud with SCALA Music & Sound Hub and Cyprus Mixtape, and led by Cemre Arca and Maria Kaimaklioti. Sessions are in English and free, workshops need registering for, and the sign-up form also offers car-sharing on a first-come basis. The session starts at 6.30pm.
