Hip Hop Mediterraneo: Social Waste Documentary Screening at Synergeio, Limassol

About the event

The Cultural Foundation 1948 is screening Hip Hop Mediterraneo, Alfonso De Munno Gallardo’s music documentary about Social Waste. For 25 years this independent collective has gone its own way, well outside the conventions of the music business. The film catches its members, now scattered across Greece, as they reunite to make a new record and take to the road once more. Through personal moments, rows and archive footage it shows both the strength and the strain of doing things together, as the band blends hip hop with Mediterranean musical traditions and pointed social commentary. The screening runs from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, tickets are €8 and registration is required.
