Marathon of Theatre Readings at THOC: 12 New Cypriot Plays

About the event

Twelve brand new Cypriot plays meet an audience for the first time in THOC's marathon of staged readings. Professional actors from the company read them, with Neoklis Neokleous curating. Each reading is followed by a short conversation with the playwright about where the piece began. The plays grew out of a long playwriting workshop led by the late Alexia Papalazarou, which brought together fifteen young writers. There are four Friday evenings in all, entry is free with a reservation, and readings start at 7pm.
