Meet the Farm: From Soil to Picnic Table at Riverland Bio Farm

Friends of the Earth Cyprus are heading to Riverland Bio Farm in Kambia to show how food really travels from soil to table. The day includes a walk round the farm, a frank conversation with local growers about the realities of farming in Cyprus, and a brunch of local, seasonal produce, some of it grown on the spot. Coaches leave at 9:15 from the St George Havouzas church car park in Limassol and at 10:00 from the GSP Stadium car park in Nicosia, returning at 16:00. The visit is part of the European Good Food Good Farming campaign, held under the auspices of the Commissioner for the Environment and Animal Welfare. It is free for members, places are limited and registration is required.
