Working in Groups: a two-day workshop for creative teams in Kakopetria

Dance House Lefkosia's two-day workshop gives creative teams in the arts and cultural production practical tools for working well together. It takes on the questions every team runs into: how to build a group that pulls in the same direction, how to handle tension and conflict mid-project, and how to prepare for meetings with official and government bodies. On the Saturday Vasiliki Christofi leads a seminar on communication and managing collaborators; on the Sunday Petros Konnaris, the company's artistic director, introduces creative practices for building trust, clarity and a shared framework, before participants put their new conflict-management tools to work with their own team. Sessions run from 10am to 5pm with an hour's break, and part of your team can join free of charge on the second day. The fee is €80, or €50 for students and friends of Dancehouse, and covers a night at Rifugio Retreat and a light lunch on both days. Places are limited, and registration closes on 15 November, with full payment due on sign-up.
