Artist Talks for Kids x The Cyprus Museum

About the event

The Department of Antiquities brings children face to face with artist Efi Savvides among the collections of the Cyprus Museum. The session belongs to a second series of five interactive Artist Talks for Kids, this time themed around animals, in which contemporary art is set in conversation with the archaeological exhibits. Through hands-on activities, children explore how people, animals, nature and technology connect, with a particular eye on the island's wildlife and Cypriot mythology. The programme is curated by museum educator Elena Panagiotou and visual artist Panayiotis Andreou. The talk is in Greek and free, though places are limited to ten and allocated in order of registration; each session stands alone, so there is no need to attend the whole series. It runs from 10:00 to 11:45.
