For parentsChampis: Breaking the Ice Stand-Up ComedyChampis Damianou, one of Cyprus's best-loved stand-ups, is back with his second solo show, Breaking the Ice. He isn't running for president this time; instead he's doing what he does best — breaking the ice — with tales of his grandmother's complicated relationship with TikTok, why he's afraid of having children, how he became the Secretary-General of Cancellations, his rather particular reasons for hating Christmas, the best and worst hate comments he's received, a spell inside a prison and how comedy helps him through loss. Part stand-up, part therapy: honest, funny and at times closer to home than you'd expect.
