About the event
The Secrets of Pentadaktylos introduces children to the Pentadaktylos mountain range through paintings, engravings and illustrated publications from the Costas and Rita Severis Collection. With the museum educator, they learn the names of its peaks, find the medieval castles on its slopes and hear the stories and legends of kings, queens and turning points in Cypriot history. The artworks become a way into how landscape, memory and cultural heritage fit together. To finish, each child paints their own Pentadaktylos, inspired by the collection and the tales they have heard. Led by Kyriakos Theocharous, the session runs from 11am to 12.30pm in Greek and costs €10 per child.
